Black Screen when Using RDP from Windows 10 v1809 to Windows 2019

If you are connecting from Windows 10 v1809 to Windows 2019 server, you might encounter a black screen bug.

This is a problem with routing Microsoft added inside the new RDP version.

There are 2 solutions

Solution 1

Install RDP App from Windows 10 store

Solution 2

Run Group Policy Editor.  Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administration Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Connection Client.  Set the "Turn Off UDP On Client" setting to Enabled.
